What is a tincture? How do you take a tincture?
A tincture is a concentrated liquid extract of plants (herbs, roots, flowers, bark, fruits, etc.)
There are a variety of ways to take a tincture. Our tinctures are designed to stand alone, or to be used in your culinary endeavors.
If this is your first time taking our tinctures, we recommend placing a few drops on your tongue to experience the fullness of taste. If you like it, feel free to take the recommended dosage directly on your tongue.
Do your products contain allergens?
The Delicious Elixirs do not directly contain gluten, dairy, meat, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, soy, or eggs.
However they are manufactured at Leaven Collaborative Kitchen, at which each of those ingredients are processed.
While none of our products directly contain shellfish, those allergic should use caution with the 02 / Salty Elixir, because Sea Moss may contain traces of shellfish.
Are your products organic?
While we use close to 100% organic ingredients, we have not yet applied to the USDA for organic certification. Stay tuned!
Are the tinctures safe for people on prescription medications?

What is the shelf life of the products?
The shelf life on our products vary based on which liquid they were extracted in. Generally, for glycerine and vinegar extractions, the shelf life is approximately up to 2 years, for alcohol based extractions the shelf life is approximately up to 5 years. For optimal flavor and potency use our products by the best by date, listed on the individual bottles.
How should I store the products once opened?
All of our products are all shelf stable. To extend the optimal flavor and quality of the products, you can store them in the fridge.
